One of the newer Boss Hogg Outlawz (he’s also in J-Dawg’s Stompdown Soldiers) recently made his solo debut. For those who haven’t followed the scene lately, BHO has been revamped in the past year or so. In that time other Hoggs have garnered attention but now its MUG’s time to shine.

Given the J-Dawg affiliation, most should know what to expect from this. There aren’t many talks of candy paint & elbows like most stereotypical expect from Houston rap, but rather gritty street tales told through the pen of someone who actually lived them. For a debut, he really delivers. His flow is on point, delivery is crisp and he even fleshes out actual songs, not unfinished demo types like his peers.
